The guitar department at Loyola offers one-on-one lessons with an accomplished professor of guitar, both in jazz and classical concentrations. 每学期结束的时候, guitar students perform in Classical Guitar Night, where students are able to perform collaborative and solo works.
The Keyboard Department offers professional training for students seeking a career in the performance and/or teaching areas. We offer many performance opportunities throughout the year in our concert halls, where we host two Steinway concert grands and a Bössendorfer imperial grand.
The School of Music provides a strong program for string instrumentalists of all majors. Loyola string majors are consistently and quickly placed in university programs throughout the country.
